NDIS Behaviour Support 0110 refers to Specialist Positive Behaviour Support, which is a specific registration group under the NDIS.

It covers providers who deliver specialised support to people with disability who show behaviours of concern. The goal is to improve quality of life and safely reduce or eliminate those behaviours — in line with best practices, such as those outlined by  Ability Action Australia

What’s Included in NDIS Behavioural Support (0110)

At Innate Therapies, we provide person-centred Behaviour Support services that focus on understanding the why behind behaviours, not just the behaviour itself.

Our goal is to support each individual to feel safe, understood, and empowered, while building practical skills that improve everyday life.

We work closely with participants, families, support teams, and schools to create consistent, meaningful change.

What is Behaviour Support?

Behaviour Support is an NDIS-funded service that helps individuals who may display behaviours of concern.

Rather than focusing on “stopping” behaviours, we:

  • Explore the underlying causes (communication, sensory needs, emotional regulation, environment)
  • Identify triggers and patterns
  • Teach safer, more effective ways to express needs
  • Support the people around the participant to respond in helpful, consistent ways

Our approach is always:

  • Strengths-based
  • Trauma-informed
  • Respectful and non-judgemental
  • Focused on reducing restrictive practices

What We Provide

We offer a structured and supportive Behaviour Support process:

Initial Intake & Risk Assessment

  • Review of NDIS plan and goals
  • Understanding strengths, needs, and current supports
  • Exploration of behaviours of concern
  • Identification of risks and immediate supports
  • Determining suitability and level of support required

A detailed report is then provided with recommendations and next steps.

Behaviour Support Plans

Depending on individual needs, we develop:

Interim Behaviour Support Plans

  • Short-term strategies to ensure immediate safety and support
  • Developed within required NDIS timeframes

Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans

  • In-depth assessment and functional behaviour analysis
  • Clear, practical strategies tailored to the individual
  • Focus on skill-building and long-term outcomes

Ongoing Support

We don’t just write plans—we support you to use them.

This includes:

  • Regular sessions with the participant
  • Coaching for parents, carers, and support workers
  • Collaboration with schools and other services
  • Strategy adjustments as needs change
  • Monitoring progress and outcomes

We provide practical, easy-to-understand training for:
